Steve Jobs passed away this week as I think all of us know unfortunately by
now.
It was amazing the impact he had on the world and it was great to see
everyone on twitter, facebook, ESPN, CNN, etc. pay such homage to a great
visionary and leader in our country.
What I wanted to say briefly here about Steve is that he was THE MAN!
We should all hope and strive to have such a positive impact on the world
as Steve did.
He was truly a visionary and changed our world for future generations.
Let me say that again…
STEVE JOBS CHANGED OUR WORLD FOR DECADES TO COME.
That’s a pretty wild accomplishment when you say it out loud.
I am reading a book currently that speaks about what we need to
get through this recession that we just had and may still be in
right now is to be coming up with new industries and innovations.
These industries and innovations will lead us into new decades of prosperity.
Steve Jobs was one of these innovators.
Instead of worrying about how to bail out broken systems and old
technologies we need to concentrate on what is going to take us to the
next level of growth both nationally and globally.
It is possible and there are people out there that can do it.
Steve Jobs was one of them and he did his part.
He will be sorely missed but remembered to me and perhaps my generation as
our version of Carnegie, Edison, or Rockefeller.
And I don’t think you can receive higher praise than that.
RIP Steve Jobs. You are and will forever be THE MAN.
